In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, nearly all applications are SaaS based, and accessed through a browser. It’s not just a tool – it’s the future of how we work, learn, and connect.

This introduces the “New Perimeter”, and makes one thing clear - there are new blind spots in AI applications that introduce data risks and risky extensions that are unknown to your network.

Following the technology showcase with VINE (Victorian ICT Network for Education), we are hosting a Hands-on Workshop designed specifically for IT professionals in education to test-drive the technology in a live environment.

Bring your laptop for a practical session where we will build and test real-world policies for:

• AI Visibility & Guardrails: See exactly which GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) are being used across your network. Learn how to set guardrails to prevent users from bypassing safety filters.

• DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Controls: Most schools have no visibility or control over sensitive data leaving their environment. We will demonstrate how to automatically block the upload of student PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or financial records into unauthorised web apps.

• User Wellbeing & Safety: Explore how the browser can identify "red-flag" search terms or behaviors, providing the visibility needed to support student mental health and provide custom, real-time end-user coaching
