The goal of this series is to enable students to perform configurations and day-to-day operations through our guided hands-on labs. Attendees will also learn about key concepts to broaden their knowledge on protecting assets in the public cloud and through secure remote access.

Public Cloud
- New concepts in developing security guardrails for public cloud instances
- Design considerations with recommendations for Azure, GCP and AWS
- Best practices to deploy VM-Series virtual firewalls in public cloud environments
- Maintaining compliance standards for public cloud deployments
Security Operations
- How to best interface with DevOps and securely enable transitions to the cloud
- Identifying key provisioning and configuration considerations for deployment
- Capabilities review, including SaaS, AI, ML, IoT, DLP and DNS
- Assessment of an Attack Surface Management Expanse report
- Eliminating alert backlog and simplifying investigations with automated root cause analysis and timeline views
We will also be providing an update on the Unit 42 threat landscape and best practices for adopting the Zero Trust methodology.

Prerequisites: This course is designed for students who have a thorough understanding of security concepts but may be new to the Palo Alto Networks extended portfolio. Experience with other security technologies (e.g., IPS, proxy, DLP, content filtering) is a plus. Chrome Browser (latest version) will be needed in order to access the hands-on lab portions each day.
Agenda: The series comprises nine (9) modules that include a very brief overview and an in-depth look into aspects of the Palo Alto Networks portfolio. There will be hands-on labs each day of the training.
