Matt from our Cloud Delivered Security Services (CDSS) consultancy will deliver the first step of the breach autopsy by looking at what happened from a network perspective, piecing together what was seen as part of the attacker’s action on target before providing some essential insights into how network security measures can and should be configured to ensure that attacks never get to the intended target.

Patrick from our Cortex Specialist team will deliver the second step of the breach autopsy by looking at what happened on the target endpoints, piecing together what was seen as part of the attacker’s action on target before providing some essential insights into how endpoint security measures can most effectively detect and block threats before they become a full-blown breach.  

Using the Mitre ATT&CK framework as a boilerplate, Matt and Patrick will then discuss how harmonising threat mitigations at both the network and on the endpoint provides the most robust means of ensuring that even the most sophisticated threats cannot establish a ‘breachhead’.
