Ian Lim is field chief security officer for Asia Pacific at Palo Alto Networks. In his role, Ian helps to develop innovative solutions, threat prevention strategies, and risk management frameworks for business executives as well as the wider cybersecurity community.
With over 20 years of dedicated cybersecurity experience, Ian has led global security departments for Fortune 100 companies, deploying defense-in-depth capabilities to thwart advanced attacks. He has cross-industry cybersecurity expertise in the financial, real estate, and healthcare verticals, and has done on-the-ground work in the US, EMEA and APAC. He is also instrumental in developing governance policies and risk frameworks to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Ian graduated from University of California Irvine (UCI) with a Computer Science and English degree, and is currently an Executive Committee member at his alma mater’s Cyber Research Policy Institute. On the publishing front, Ian is the principal author of "Information Security Cost Management" and "Securing Cloud and Mobility", and a guest author in Auerbach's Information Security Management Handbook (required reading for CISSP).
In his free-time, Ian enjoys filmmaking and has participated in short film competitions.
Steven Scheurmann oversees Palo Alto Networks' business in the ASEAN region, from driving revenue growth and market momentum to building the overall strategy.
Scheurmann has lived and worked in the Asia-Pacific region for close to 30 years. Throughout his career, Scheurmann has assisted both the public and private sectors with their investments in technology, digital transformation, and cloud adoption.
He regularly speaks at industry events, sharing valuable insights related to the digital economy and addressing topics such as risk, security, cybercrime, mobility, AI, digital, and faster payments.

Earlier in his career, Simon was National Sales Manager and Director for ProVision, which, at that time, was NetApp's Australian distributor. Simon also spent several years in business-development at Austereo, and worked for seven years in a chartered accountancy firm as a tax specialist.
As Chief Information Officer, Meerah is responsible for Palo Alto Networks’ global information technology functions, driving a comprehensive strategy to scale and rapidly deliver innovative solutions for our worldwide teams.

Pendidikan sarjana Strata-1 ditempuh dan diselesaikan di Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), tahun 1986 dalam bidang Teknik Elektro, sub Jurusan Elektronika dan Sistem Kendali. Ia kemudian menyelesaikan Master of Science pada tahun 1991 di University of Kenctucky, USA, Jurusan Ilmu Komputer dan selanjutnya menyelesaikan Doctor of Engineering pada tahun 1999 di ITB, dengan predikat Cum Laude. Program penelitian disertasi dilakukan di Computing Research Laboratory, New Mexico State University, USA Kini Prof. Hammam Riza bekerja sebagai Perekayasa Ahli Utama di Pusat Riset Kecerdasan Artifisial dan Keamanan Siber - BRIN dan menjadi Guru Besar bidang Artificial Intelligence di Fakultas Teknik Elektro dan Komputer, Universitas Syiah Kuala.
